I chose this video because the word hockney looked interesting and it was this video showed this artist and his progress in his work. It showed his collges and how his worked changed and how he dared to explore the art of the nude. they showed a bunch of his works just like the other videos and showed how he experimented with other things like paint, fax art and photocopying. They also said most of his artwork is not made for public viewing because in my opinion people are afraid of being nude or naked it scares them and when somebody shares it with the world its a problem.
the works of Andy Warhol symbolize modern America. This program takes a look at the Pop Art movement and the life of Warhol through his portrayal of the Ten Lizes. This painting shows his fascination with and his problem. He wants to show celebrities as objects no less commodified than a simple can of soup. Andy warhol is one of my favorite modern day artist.
