Create a reflection journal on your Blog and answer the following questions:
1. Why did you select the inspiration pieces?

Getting everything centered and proportional on my face. I drew center lines in order to help me draw my nose and other guides to help with my eyes and lips.

Week Eleven - Video Review Blog

1. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.
critics are analytical they see things in a different way. They say they love thier jobs because it always changes. To be in their field they have to capture the readers attention and be credible, state facts and just dont give their simple opinion.
2. Do the videos relate to the creation of your Art Criticism project? If yes, explain how. If no, explain why not.
They do relate but i believe in this class we are not professionals so we would critique each others work so harsh.
3. What is your opinion of the films? Do they add depth to understanding of art criticism?
The films were good just a little long. They basically got to the point in the first 10 minutes the rest of it just got more specific in a certain critics life.

EXTRA CREDIT (FINAL CHANCE!

1. Which assignment did you ENJOY working on the best? Why?
The best assignment was Elements and principles. I enjoyed going around and taking pictures of these things, it wasnt to hard but it made you move and be active.

2. Which assignment did you ENJOY working on the least? Why?
i didnt really enjoy the mask making project i thought it was to high school i dont like cutting things out and gluing it just took me back some years. I dont know if everybody who takes this class is and art major because they might enjoy it but for me it wasnt that fun.

3. How did you like using ANGEL?
Angel is very useful when the teacher is on it all the time to respond to your questions and concerns and responds in a timely manner its better than being in class

4. If you had the opportunity to change this course:
What would you keep? What would you remove? What would you add? I would change the fact that it goes throughout the whole not just in a session.

5. Would you recommend this course to your peers?
Yes most deffinately. I failed this course in class but online i did so much better

6. Please list any other comments you would like to share.
i had a good time taking my first online course
1. What were you expectations for this course and where they met?
This course made me reach far beyond myself, i did not expect to do this many art projects and i did not know that the class was through the whole summer. I expected it to be easy and i would breeze through it. But it was very demanding.
2. Now that you've been through this course, What is art? How would you define it now compared to your intial posting?
Art to me is something that differs from person to person. i learned that that skills and art are two different things and i still have the same opinion as i did before but after all is said in done i have broadened my knowledge of art.
3. Who was your favorite artist in your original posting and who is your favorite visual artist now? If there is a difference, why do you think so? If you have the same favorite artist, why do you think so?
I never really had a favorite artist and to this day i dont believe i can say that i will ever have one but i do like certain pieces by certain people like Picasso.
4. Now that you've completed this course, how do you feel about taking an online course? Is your answer the same as it was in your first posting? How is it the same or different?
This was my first online course like a said in my first posting but  i think that im going to take more of these classes because its way easier and you can monitor your grades easier and you can just do everything on your own time and not have to limit yourself to a classroom.

Week Ten - Blog: Video Review

Yes theses videos show the process needed to make and exhibit. I learned alot from these and it gave me my idea to do Black art. I had to ask myself what would be the easiest thing for me to show and relate to. It was either sports or nature, and everybody else was probably going to do nature. The videos were good to give you a concept but when deciding what to put what i put in my exhibit it came from the heart. No video could determine what i did.

Project #4: Art Curator Exhibition

This project took me about a week to complete with each day i found a new painting to put on my slide. I had many ideas but one stood out in my mind. The theme was black people and art. This means alot to me and my culture so thats why i decided to do it. This project was fun, i got a chance to view alot of pieces of art. I learned why certain artist created their paintings and it was an all around great experience. The only down part was that if you had similiar paintings or similiar artist you would seem like things were becoming repetative. It wasa good experience for me because my major is math and this is a long way away from doin equations. Its just a grueling of a process though.
